Installation Team Leader – Cape Town

A manufacturing and construction company which provides high-quality screens and barrier solutions for homes, businesses and farms are seeking an experienced Installation Team Leader to oversee the on-site installation of screen products, including aluminium framework. This role combines hands-on technical installation work with team leadership, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard of quality.  

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in installation work within manufacturing, construction, or a related trade

• Strong understanding of health and safety practices on-site

• Ability to read technical drawings and installation specifications

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Valid driver's license (own transport may be required)

Main responsibilities (but not limited to these only):

• Lead and manage the on-site installation of screen products, ensuring work meets company specifications and quality standards

• Supervise, coordinate, and support the installation team on-site, allocating tasks and monitoring progress

• Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and installation plans

• Ensure all installations comply with health and safety regulations and company procedures

• Liaise with clients, site managers, and other contractors to ensure smooth project delivery

• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site technical issues as they arise

• Conduct quality checks and sign-off on completed installations

• Manage tools, equipment, and materials required for each installation

• Assist with the manufacturing of products as required

• Report progress, delays, or issues to management in a timely manner
