This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex, large-scale industrial and commercial installations, ensuring precise and practical design outputs that support efficient construction and maintenance.

What You'll Do:

  • Produce detailed mechanical drawings for commercial and industrial hot water plantrooms, including layouts for heat pumps, storage vessels, and associated equipment.

  • Develop piping layouts, schematic diagrams, isometric drawings, and installation schematics.

  • Design and draft hot and cold water reticulation systems, ensuring serviceability, access, and future expansion are factored into layouts.

  • Prepare as-built drawings post-project completion and coordinate with project managers and fabrication teams.

  • Create electrical control panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and develop control schematics.

  • Develop fabrication drawings for vessels, heat accumulators, and support structures, ensuring practicality and manufacturability.

  • Assist with equipment selection, layout optimization, and resolve on-site design queries.

Requirements:

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in mechanical drafting, particularly within engineering projects.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Autodesk, and REVIT.

  • Solid understanding of piping systems, vessel fabrication, and electrical schematics.

  • Experience with copper, stainless steel, HDPE, PPR, and mild steel piping layouts.

  • Strong coordination skills to align mechanical designs with electrical interfaces and BMS systems.

  • Ability to produce buildable, installation-friendly designs that adhere to project timelines.

Familiarity with the following:

  • Working with heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and control panels.

  • Site measurements and surveying.

  • Industrial piping and vessel manufacturing processes.

What We'll Give You:

  • Competitive salary package, negotiable based on experience.

  • The opportunity to work on impactful projects within the engineering sector.

  • A collaborative work environment that values innovation and precision.

  • Supportive team dedicated to professional growth.
