Well-established and growing company, involved in the maintenance and provision of equipment to the marine and oil & gas industries, seeks to employ a graduate Mechanical Engineer at their premises near Bothasig.

For the position you would be required to have:

• B. Sc/ B. Eng in Mechanical Engineer ESSENTIAL
• 3D CAD, SolidWorks
• FEA Software
• ASME V111 exposure advantageous
• Around 6 years’ experience in heavy engineering, offshore or subsea

Responsibilities would include you to:

• Design and development of equipment
• Strength calculations and 3D CAD modelling and drawing SolidWorks
• Data pack generation: Work instructions, manuals, QCP’s, BOMs
• Project management from inception to delivery
• Quotation, execution, procurement, logistics, resource planning
• Reporting, oversight, manufacturing and quality control
