Location: Cape Town, South Africa

 

We are thrilled to announce a unique opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Business Management Intern. This 6-month fixed-term position will be work from home and offers comprehensive training to kickstart your career in the exciting intersection of business and marketing.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • As a Business Management and Development Intern, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the growth and success of our New York City-based law firm. Your main responsibilities include:
  • Contribute to Business Development: Utilize your marketing and advertising expertise to support the overall business development initiatives of our client.
  • Operations Administration: Assist with all back office operations including bookkeeping, billing, accounts receivable collections, and managing software subscriptions.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to provide valuable insights that inform strategic decision-making.
  • Proposal and Presentation Creation: Collaborate on the creation of compelling business proposals and presentations to showcase our capabilities.
  • Identify New Business Opportunities: Work closely with the team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, fostering innovation and growth.
  • Administrative Support: Provide essential administrative support as needed, ensuring the smooth functioning of various tasks.
  • Executive Summaries and Reporting: Report directly to and be trained by the managing director.

 

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business (B.Comm) or a similar field with a focus on business management.

Location: Must reside in Cape Town, South Africa.

Academic Excellence: Demonstrate strong academic performance, especially in related coursework.

Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.

Autonomy and Team Collaboration: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing positively to a collaborative work environment.

Technical Proficiency: Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.

Organizational Skills: Exhibit excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Work Hours: Available to work during NYC hours (1500-2400 SA Time).
