We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Workshop Manager to lead our busy diesel mechanic workshop. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Red Seal Diesel Mechanic with strong leadership abilities and hands-on technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Workshop operations: Oversee daily workflow, scheduling, and productivity.

• Team leadership: Manage and mentor a team of mechanics and apprentices.

• Quality control: Ensure all repairs and services meet industry standards.

• Customer service: Liaise with clients, provide updates, and maintain strong relationships.

• Inventory management: Monitor parts, tools, and consumables.

Minimum Requirements

• Red Seal qualification in Diesel Mechanics

• Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

• Valid driver’s license

• Perform complete engine overhauls from start to finish on models including CAT, Cummins, Perkins, John Deere, and Yanmar

• Conduct diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel engines to ensure optimal performance
